Manuel spoke during the orientation of the first year high school students, he showed his gratitute and joy to all Andreans, members of SAS community and the alumni who helped St. Andrew's School recover. He explained to all students the truth why St. Andrew's School won the award. Msgr. Manuel said that the SAS community, although having been involved in the mercury incident, still won this award because of the Andreans, who help the school stand again. On that said occasion, Msgr. Manuel told the students a story about an alumnies who enjoyed living his highschool life. When he was informed of what happened to the school, he immediately helped SAS community. This alumnus is one of the many people who helped SAS recover.
