Guidelines

The following basic Pre-school, Elementary and Secondary programs are offered for School Year 2010-2011:

Nursery (boys & girls) 3.5 – 4.5 yrs. old by June 2010
Kinder (boys & girls) 4.5 – 5.4 yrs. old by June 2010
Preparatory (boys & girls) 5.5 – 6.5 yrs. old by June 2010
Grade 1-6 (boys & girls) 7 yrs. old by Oct. 2010
First Year Fourth Year High School (boys & girls)

  1. The school gives entrance tests to all new students. Admission depends upon the results of the entrance test, the average obtained in the previous curriculum level, Conduct grade and the number of vacancies available.

Students may be admitted upon presentation of the following credentials:

  1. Photocopy of the latest report card with second quarter grades;
  2. Photocopy of Birth Certificate authenticated by the NSO;
  3. Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate from the Roman Catholic Church;
  4. Photocopy of Parents’ Marriage Contract from the Roman Catholic Church;
  5. Original copy of Recommendation letter from the Guidance Counselor or Principal (for Grade School & High School applicants only);
  6. Two (2) copies 1’ x 1’ identical pictures, and
  7. Immunization Record (for Nursery, Kinder & Prep. applicants only)
Note: All documents must be placed inside a LONG BROWN ENVELOPE.
  1. Foreign students may be admitted upon compliance with all the requirements of the Bureau of Immigration & Deportation, Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Education.

  2. Former SAS students who transferred to other schools and are again seeking admission are considered new applicants, provided their transfer to other schools was caused by reasons other than academic deficiencies and failure in Conduct.

  3. SAS reserves the right to require applicants to take summer enrichment programs in English, Science and Math prior to admission in case entrance test results do not fully satisfy the requirements of the academic department.

RELEASE OF APPLICATIONS

  1. Applications will be released on October 12, 2009 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of P200.00 at the Cashier’s Office. Applicants will be given the date and time of exam upon submission of complete requirements.

SCHOLARSHIPS: (First Year High School only)

  1. Valedictorians, Salutatorians & First Honorable Mention may receive full or partial scholarships depending on the results of the entrance test and Grade 6 grades, provided that the number of graduates is 150 students or more. They must secure a certificate from their Grade School principals about the honors received indicating the total number of students who graduated.
