Philosophy
St. Andrew's School (SAS) as an educational institution founded by the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM) and a member of Manila Archdiocesan and Parochial Schools Associations (MAPSA) is unselfishly performing its mission to provide Catholic Education through affordable theoretical and experimental learning.
As an educational institution of the St. Andrew Cathedral, the SAS commits itself to the following:
- Provide religious education which teaches the beauty of Jesus' teachings and of living Christian values;
- Present an academic program which is college preparatory; and
- Create an environment in which students appreciate the richness of their culture, become aware of their human dignity; develop personal responsibility; acquire concern of the community, especially the poor; and care for the integrity of creation.
St. Andrew's School believes the realization of the above mentioned commitment will be fulfilled in the presence of strengthened family solidarity and recognized significant roles of the primary educators of faith and life: the PARENTS.
A Philosophy of giving Catholic Education "Pro Deo et Patria".
